About Us

Tighe Soccer was officially formed in 2004. It answers the demand for a club independent advanced skills program for talented footballers aged between primarily 9 and 15 years in Perth WA.

The program concentrates on providing talented juniors with the right environment to learn and mirror the techniques of the worlds greatest players and develop skills to their fullest potential.

Drawing on his own experience as both an International professional player and someone who has worked with some of the world's top coaches, Aaron Tighe's (pictured above) coaching program is a learning experience that is a must for young players determined to be the best

Soccer's growth in Perth has been helped by the success of the Australian national team in the world cup, Perth Glory and the success of the A League. With a rising population of over two million people Australian soccer is now catching the eye of young sportsmen and women. .
The Academy has involved players from numerous high profile clubs in Perth and has been supported over the years by Swan IC, Ballajura Soccer Club, Quinns Soccer Club, Nedlands soccer club and Bayswater soccer club. Aaron Tighe's coaching method has also proudly received an endorsement from Tottenham Hotspur's Director of Football David Pleat, Crystal Palace Manager Ian Dowie and the vastly experienced WA Soccer Hall of Fame Coach Ron Tindell, amongst others.
Aaron continues to develop his coaching skills and knowledge including a recent visit to Arsenal football club as a guest of the Youth team.

Coaching Program

Do you want to dribble like Giggs, shield like Zidane, bend it like Beckham,, shoot like Henri, amaze like Maradonna, trick like Ronaldo, and turn like Cruyff, plus learn and adapt the skills of many other current and former world famous players? If so the Tighesoccer skills program is for you!

Using a method of breaking down the skills of famous stars to easily manageable steps and gradually building up the speed and performance of players to a level of skill mastery, Aaron Tighe's coaching method offers the highest levels of individual technique development for junior players.

The program centres on the under 10 to under 15 age bracket with selection of players commencing at under 10. After just one year players will be competent in producing in match situations the skills of the stars!

Once skills have been mastered the focus switches to the pace, accuracy and effectiveness of the skill in team situations be it attack or defence, as an individual or as a team.

The program is designed to provide players, parents and team coaches with progress feedback along with promoting talented players within WA and the UK.
